Walking as a means of regulating and improving mental health is widely accepted. However, walking through green groves or mountain trails in combination with psychotherapeutic intervention is an innovative form of treatment (Akers et al. 2012) in Norway provided by certified psychologists.
Ambulatory psychotherapy combines the soothing beneficial components of natural movement, the calming factor of nature, and further the scientific psychotherapeutic intervention of the psychologist.
Having worked at the Central Norway Hospital as a psychologist and having lived in Norway, I am familiar with the Scandinavian way of thinking, psychotherapy and prescribing a natural lifestyle as a means of a modern active therapeutic approach to mental stress.

My education in health psychology (MSc), my four-year training in synthetic psychotherapy from the University of Crete and the experience I gained in the Scandinavian Health System of Norway have led me to the integration of Walk and Talk Psychotherapy in Fthiotida (Greece) where I am based.
